I was reading Stephen King books probably before I should have. My copy of “The Stand” broke apart at the spine because I read it so much (I had to get a new one). Given all of that, I haven’t been reading a lot of his stuff lately, because I have moved a little more into the fantasy realm instead of the horror realm. But for all that, I know that Stephen King is still a great writer.
His latest book, “Under The Dome“, due out next week, sounds fantastic. Maybe it’s finally time for me to return to the master of darkness?
What’s your favorite Stephen King book? Or if this genre isn’t to your taste, what is?

I never was one for Stephen King but love a good crime novel. I’ve been reading Sandra Brown’s collection. I find her covering alot of areas-romance, crime, mystery…I have many authors that I’ve enjoyed over the years. If anyone wants to borrow a book or two let me know and I’ll check to see if I have them. I have around 300 books….
Wow 300 books…you probaby have more books than the public library..lol…
I am not a huge fan of Stephen King, it seems like he can build up a novel really well but can’t quite wrap it up. I always find the last few chapters lacking.
