My little puppy is the best dog in the world, at least that’s what I think. He never chews on things that are not his. He waits patiently by the door when he has to go out. And when I have him off a leash he stays right by my side. I rescued him a year ago and at only 30lbs he makes the perfect apartment dog! And while I think my puppy is the best, there are just certain dogs that thrive living in apartments. Without acers to run in our back yard there are just some dog breads that are good for an apartment and other that are not. Here is a list of some apartment friendly breads.

Cairn Terrier
Miniature Schnauzer
Pembroke Welsh Corgi
Yorkshire Terrier
Cocker Spaniel
French Bulldog
Boston Terrier

Of course if you go to petfinder.com or a local humane society you can find the perfect puppy to give a home. Smaller orphaned dog breeds tend to be few and far between but if you keep checking back you’re bound to find a little guy to take home.

PS my little guy in the picture is a Boykin Spaniel… Great dogs!
